LATE this afternoon, Panthers CEO Michael Leary confirmed that Michael Jennings has agreed to a further 5 years at the club.<br><br>Jennings, a local junior who played for the West City Tigers and St Marys has represented City Origin, NSW Origin and Australia in the last 2 years as well as Tonga at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. <br><br>At just 22 years of age, Jennings is viewed by the club as long term representative prospect.<br><br>“I’m pleased we have been able to retain Michael at the club until 2015,” CEO Michael Leary said.<br><br>“The club will always endeavour to provide long term opportunities to its local players and keep them as long as possible wherever possible.<br><br>“Jennings is a player who has already shown at a young age what he is capable of. He is a gifted athlete who achieved representative status as a junior and has only just embarked on what will become a long term representative career at senior level.”<br>
