Tonight’s NRL blockbuster between the Pirtek Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers is officially a sell-out, with the last remaining restricted view tickets being snapped up this afternoon.
It means a crowd in excess of 20,000 will be on hand at Parramatta Stadium to see the 9th placed Eels play host to the 8th placed Panthers in the battle of the west.
For those who have purchased tickets, gates open at 5.10pm with Toyota Cup to kick off at 5.20.
The NRL clash is due to start at 7.35pm.
“A full Parramatta Stadium is nothing short of an outstanding result and quite frankly it’s what this game deserves,” Eels chief executive officer Paul Osborne said.
“I'd like to send a huge vote of thanks to every Parramatta and Penrith supporter who bought a ticket, they will certainly witness a game to remember tonight.
“I’d encourage all of those who missed out on a seat to go out and catch the game at one of the great entertainment venues around Parramatta.”
With two rounds of the regular season left to play, the winner of tonight’s match will put themselves in the box seat for finals qualification.
