Telstra loves footy and has proudly supported NRL for more than 20 years now. To celebrate the 2023 NRL & NRLW finals series, in partnership with NRL visited regional and remote Australian communities with legendary players and the NRL and NRLW Premiership trophies.
The NRL Telstra Footy Country Tour started in far north Aurukun, Queensland, travelling down through regional QLD, NSW, and VIC to then landing at the 2023 Grand Final at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
As part of the Telstra Footy Country Tour, Two Junior Rugby League Clubs won the ultimate NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final on-field Experience!
The Telstra Footy Country Tour has clocked over 9,500 kilometres as it ventured throughout footy country over 4 weeks taking the prestigious Proven-Summons trophy and the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership Trophy to Aurukun, Mackay, Rockhampton, Cherbourg, Toowoomba, Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Mildura, Queanbeyan, Bathurst, and Penrith.
