Biography
Bryson grew up in a footy loving family in Parkes, New South Wales, Australia. Although Bryon was extremely shy, the household was noisy as he shared his home with five brothers and a sister! He had plenty of role models to look up to, and people to play with.
As a child Bryson loved footy, he was always kicking or throwing a footy with his brothers and Dad. At 5 years of age, Bryson was already playing Rugby League at the local club. He knew from a young age this was the game for him and he had talent! His Mum took him to training and games and his older brother, Leon, was the coach.
Bryon’s family was tightknit, however NRL rivalry was rife with everyone supporting different teams. Bryson’s loyalty lay with the Canberra Raiders, he loved watching Laurie Daley and passionately supported the green machine team!
After supporting the Raiders, and playing Rugby League since five years of age, nothing could have topped the moment the Raiders Coach, Ricky Stuart, approached Bryson during training to invite him to make his NRL debut – everyone at training started cheering!
With his entire family supporting him, Bryson’s lifelong dream came true as he made his debut. Then, when Bryson thought things couldn’t get better, he had the honour to play Rugby League for New Zealand.
Now, Bryson lives with his wife and three kids in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney. He is a passionate NRL ambassador who loves the opportunity to be able to spread and deliver positive messages to the community.
Bryson’s goal is to help as many people as possible through Rugby League.
