Biography

Tahlulah was born in Cairns, a beautiful city in tropical North Queensland. Growing up, Tahlulah was the eldest of four siblings, with one younger sister and two younger brothers. The household was lively and full of energy, thanks to her Mum and Dad who was always supportive.

Tahlulah's interest in Rugby League sparked from a young age, largely influenced by her dad, who played for the Cowboys when they first started. His passion for the game was infectious, and she aspired to be like him. At the age of nine, Tahlulah started playing for the Cairns Kangaroos, a decision that marked the beginning of her journey in Rugby League.

The moment Tahlulah was told she was making her NRL debut was one of the happiest and most exciting times of her life. It was a childhood dream come true. The first people she called to share the news with were her Mum and Dad. Their pride and joy mirrored her own, making the moment even more special.

Career Highlights:
Tahlulah's career has been filled with memorable moments, but three highlights stand out:

1. Indigenous All Stars Debut: Representing her family, culture, and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the national stage was an incredible honour. It was a moment of immense pride and significance.

2. Cowboys Debut: As a North Queensland girl, debuting for her home club, the team she grew up supporting, was unreal. Following in her dad's footsteps added an extra layer of specialness to this achievement.

3. NRLW Debut: Making her debut in the NRLW was another significant milestone. Having Tahlulah's family travel to witness it was amazing, adding to the joy and importance of the occasion.

Being an ambassador for the NRL is something Tahlulah cherishes deeply. It allows her to travel to different communities, spread important messages, and have a positive impact on people's lives. As NRL and NRLW players, they have a platform that can influence and inspire others, and she believes it's crucial to use this platform to make a difference.
