The Clubs, The Tribes, The Triumphs.

You love them when they're winning ... and love them much less when they aren't. But a true fan has their club's crest written on their heart.

The history, the heroes, the hardships - every rugby league club has a unique tale to tell, whether it has played out over 115 years or flamed out in the space of three. In ‘Rugby League Icons - The Clubs, The Tribes, The Triumphs’ author Martin Lenehan looks at the anatomy of the game's most famous clubs and what made them tick, from the superstar players to the brilliant coach and the passionate fans.

From the all-conquering St George side of the 50s and 60s to modern masters Melbourne and Penrith. From the gone but not forgotten Bears and Jets, to Queensland's finest, the pride of New Zealand, and the Hunter Valley heartland. They are all here in this emotional tribute to the clubs and their fans, the lifeblood of our great game.

A must for all Rugby League fans.
