The inaugural Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines will see the 16 NRL clubs competing for $2.6 million in prize money in a two-day blockbuster over February 15 and 16. While the individual 15-man squads are unknown at this stage, each club is committed to fielding 12 players from their top 25 squad, including at least one of their five highest-paid players.

So who is the one Panthers player who is most likely to shine at the tournament? Have your say below.

Dean Whare - His jaw-dropping try assist in the World Cup semi-final against England is the stuff made for Nines. Fast turning into Penrith's No. 1 attacking weapon.

James Segeyaro - If the NRL was played in 20 minute bursts, Segeyaro would be among the top-three hookers. Enter the Nines!

Jamie Soward - Once the owner of the best kicking game in the business, the sooner chemistry is made with his teammates, the better.

Matt Moylan - The kid with the fast hands is even quicker between the ears, making the fast-paced Nines game easy pickings for this former touch football player.

Josh Mansour - Among the leaders in metres at Penrith, his inclusion would be like having another forward on the park.

Kevin Naiqama - Nothing beats raw power and raw speed, and a strong showing here from the Fiji fullback could make a case for him getting a start against former club Newcastle in Round 1 of the NRL.

Tyrone Peachey - Phil Gould said this summer he's a Origin star in the making. Let's find out if the Jason Smith-like lock can staple himself in first grade first.

Nigel Plum - We can't guarantee he'll last the entire 18 minutes, but we're certain he'd make the highlight reels with his trademark hits.
