Bio:

Matt 'Red' Ryan joined the Eels in 2011 from the Wests Tigers and immediately struck up a friendship with the team's existing fiery redhead, Shane Shackleton. When not mucking around with Shane, Matt is working hard to secure himself an NRL debut with the Eels and was a top performer for the Wentworthville Magpies last year. The lanky second-rower hopes to join the fire brigade after his football career is over, and is a putt-putt golf enthusiast.
