Mata’utia broke into first grade in 2011 and showed he was more than capable and ready to play NRL. The local junior played on the wing and at fullback and never looked out of place. He was named the Knights NSW Player of the Year in 2011 and will take confidence of out last season into 2012. He has improved his attitude and work ethic and is respectful and willing to learn. Mata’utia comes from a talented family; he is the eldest of four brothers at the Club, two are in NYC and one the U16s. He has completed a Certificate 3 in Sport and Recreation.
