A quartet of Broncos stars, the game's biggest wingers and a duo of try-scoring props headline NRL.com's Team of the Week for Round 12.
1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (Roosters)
The Warriors continued to lick their lips in delight as their 2016 recruit continued his rise towards entering the game's elite with a strong performance at the back for the Roosters against Melbourne on Monday. With 271 metres, nine tackle breaks and a try assist, Tuivasa-Sheck dominated.
2. Semi Radradra (Eels)
Two tries from the Eels winger midway through the second half helped stem the flow of a possible Panthers comeback. The barnstorming Fijian also picked up four tackle breaks and a try assist.
3. Mitchell Aubusson (Roosters)
The versatile back-rower excelled after being switched to the centres against Melbourne, providing two try assists for winger Shaun Kenny-Dowall and backing it up midway through the second stanza with a try of his own.
4. Jack Reed (Broncos)
Reed has become an integral part of the Broncos' dangerous left edge and he's in NRL.com's Team of the Week for the second week running after grabbing a try, a try assists and 131 run metres against Canberra.
5. Manu Vatuvei (Warriors)
Just getting the edge over opposition winger Akuila Uate on Sunday, 'The Beast' continued his fine year of dominance by scoring a try, running for 172 metres and producing four tackle busts.
6. John Sutton (Rabbitohs)
While his future remains in the back row, Sutton is still very capable of doing a job in the halves when needed. In a tough assignment up against the Titans, the Rabbitohs vice-captain remained cool under pressure by producing two try assists.
7. Ben Hunt (Broncos)
Looking more and more like a team leader every time he steps out for Brisbane, Hunt orchestrated the Broncos' win over the Raiders by setting up two tries while also playing a part in Lachlan Maranta's Try of the Year candidate.
8. Matt Scott (Cowboys)
After a gruelling State of Origin battle, the Cowboys co-captain Scott backed up from Wednesday night's Maroons victory by becoming a try-scoring linchpin for his club. On top of his usual ball-in-hand dominance in the middle, Scott grabbed the spotlight with two rare tries and eight tackle busts.
9. Andrew McCullough (Broncos)
McCullough kept the Green Machine guessing out of dummy-half and kept them at bay in the middle of the paddock by racking up 56 tackles.
10. Ben Matulino (Warriors)
While his try was as controversial as they come, Matulino earned his praise regardless after punching out 119 metres and 26 tackles against Newcastle.
11. Tariq Sims (Knights)
While the Knights may be in a slump the same could not be said for their star recruit Tariq Sims. In what has been a month of dominant displays from the former Cowboy, Sims was inspirational for a team missing a whole host of senior players.
12. Nathan Brown (Rabbitohs)
Put forward his toughest display in a cardinal and myrtle jumper to date. When Brown wasn't putting his body on the line, or setting up a try, he remained a rock in defence.
13. Jason Taumalolo (Cowboys)
The Cowboys wrecking ball is already back to his old tricks, with 216 metres and seven tackle breaks in only his second game back from a knee injury.
Interchange
14. Benji Marshall (Dragons)
While we're more used to seeing a more direct Dragons halfback nowadays, a few sightings of some classic Benji magic was spotted at Jubilee Oval on Sunday which helped him set up two tries in the Red V's big win over Cronulla.
15. Bryce Cartwright (Panthers)
As Jamie Soward head up the tunnel with a shoulder complaint, Cartwright jumped on board and took control. Sharing his time between the backs and forwards, the Panthers utility scored one try, set up another and kept the Eels guessing with five offloads.
16. Corey Parker (Broncos)
Backing up for his second game in four days, Parker continued his streak of great performances after producing 124 metres and 26 tackles in just 56 minutes.
17. Nate Myles (Titans)
While the Titans were attempting to claw their way back into proceedings against South Sydney for the most part of the game, the cause was helped greatly by captain Myles who recorded a game-high 41 tackles.
