Yesterday saw the launch of the new NRL Live 2013 App, providing all new content, options and ways to interact with The Greatest Game of All.
A key component of Telstra’s five-year digital rights partnership with the ARL Commission, the NRL LIVE 2013 App provides live coverage of 2013 NRL Telstra Premiership, Finals Series, Grand Final, Anzac Test, U20’s Origin and Country v City matches.
Since launch NRL fans across Australia have given us great feedback. A few common questions are coming in, so we thought we’d clarify them for you.
Can you access Dream Team and Tipping from the NRL Live 2013 App?
NRL Tipping and Dream Team sites will soon be made available as an update to NRL LIVE 2013.

Can we watch every game live using the NRL Live 2013 app?
Availability of live match videos in NRL LIVE 2013 is based on broadcaster times. This means that all Fox Sports matches are live and availability of Channel Nine matches is based on broadcaster times. This means Channel 9 games will be broadcast at the same time as the free to air signal in your territory and therefore may be delayed.
Location services must also be turned on to determine the live match videos available to you at the time of broadcast.
Does the NRL Live 2013 app support my device?
The current version of NRL LIVE 2013 is currently only supported on the following devices:
iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS 5 and above.
Please note that the app is not optimised or supported on the iPad but will work with iPad running iOS 6 and above.
Android Smartphone running OS 3 and above. Support for Android Smartphones on OS 2 and above will be available soon.
Please note that the app is not currently optimised or supported on Android tablets but may work with selected devices.
NRL LIVE 2013 will be updated through the 2013 season with many new features, including brand new tablet apps coming soon.
I live overseas – can I access the NRL 2013 Live App?
NRL LIVE 2013 is only available to users that have downloaded the App from the Australian App Store.
Videos (including Live Matches) in NRL LIVE 2013 are only available to users that are streaming from an Australia location.

An in-app purchase of Weekly ($5.49 – iOS only), Monthly ($14.99) or Annual Pass ($89.99) pass provides access to the following NRL LIVE 2013 Premium Content:
•Video streams of the 2013 Telstra NRL Premiership match, including the Finals Series and Grand Final - live as its being broadcast on TV*, with up to six live games every week.
•Video streams of the 2013 Anzac Test Match, U20’s Origin and City vs Country game live as its being broadcast on TV*
•Post-match Press Conference videos
