Parramatta and Tonga forward Fuifui Moimoi is facing a two match NRL suspension for a shoulder charge in his side’s 36-4 win over Samoa on Saturday night at Penrith.

Moimoi was cited for a grade 1 shoulder charge by the NRL Match Review committee for his tackle on Carlos Tuimavave in the 49th minute.

The prop forward will miss his side’s clash with the Penrith Panthers on Monday night if he takes the early guilty plea, but could face a two match ban if he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses.

If Moimoi is found guilty at the judiciary, he will also miss his side’s Round 8 home clash with the North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday, May 4.

Moimoi and Parramatta will have until 12pm on Tuesday to enter a plea.
