Zane Tetevano has had his contract terminated by the Newcastle Knights effective immediately after his recent disciplinary discretions.
The NRL integrity unit has been made aware of the matter.
Tetevano was convicted in Belmont local court and fined $440 on Wednesday after it was found he smashed a Taxi windscreen on April 28.
The Knights will provide the appropriate duty of care for Tetevano as he transitions out of the Club.
