Twins Jacob and Daniel Saifiti will make their NRL debut alongside each other for the Knights in Round 1.

Newcastle coach Nathan Brown has revealed a club record five players will make their NRL debut when the Knights take on the Gold Coast Titans this Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium.

Twins Daniel and Jacob Saifiti will make further history when they become the first twins to make their NRL debut together in 108 years of rugby league.

The 19-year-old twins will be joined by Jaelen Feeney, Pat Mata'utia and new recruit David Bhana.

It is the most amount of debutants the Knights have named since the club's first premiership game in 1988 and the most since the Brisbane Broncos played six dubutants in 2002.
