What’s that – you want to play NRL Fantasy, but you would prefer a draft system rather than having to juggle a salary cap and monitor “break-evens”? You want a unique team with your own players to take on your mates? You have no idea what a “cash-cow” is?

NRL.com has the game for you and for the first time, NRL Dream Team Draft (formerly Dream Team Pro) is in front of the paywall, meaning you can play it for free against your mates!

What is it, in a nutshell?

You organise your mates into a league and set a date for a live draft. Here you will take turns filling out your roster by picking the players you want in your side one by one.

There are no duplicates; your side is unique compared with those of your mates. For instance, if you are lucky enough to draft Cam Smith, you’ll be the only team in the competition that has him.

You then play against each other head-to-head (or based on total points only) with your completely unique teams, transfer players between teams and compete for bragging rights. The only question? How well do you know the NRL, and who are the players you need to bring together to take you to Dream Team glory?

Why you’ll love it

•    The live draft is as exciting and as nerve-racking as an actual NRL game.

•    Every team has unique players.

•    You don’t need to trade every week.

•    No need to worry about salary caps and spread sheets.

Dream Team Draft is separate from NRL.com’s flagship NRL Dream Team. You can play either or both games, it’s just another way to enjoy the NRL and your favourite players.
