With the clock ticking down until kick-off, NRL Daily takes you inside both Origin camps to check on the final preparations for the Blues and Maroons.

Fresh from the final team walk, NSW assistant coach Trent Barrett phones the studio to talk NSW tactics. A hostile enemy crowd and a fired-up Queensland team looking to send Petero Civonivea off with a win has Barrett expecting a fierce battle.

Barrett discusses the role and mindset of Blues hooker Robbie Farah who, after setting an all-time Origin tackling record in game two, suffered a heart-breaking loss with the passing of his mother. With the Blues hooking position one of the most talked about selections prior to Origin I, Barrett believes they have found their long-term solution in Farah.

Queenslander Mark Coyne, who is famous for his inspirational last gasp try against the Blues takes us inside Camp Maroon, where injuries and positional changes have headlined their preparations.

Greg Inglis moving to fullback and the role of new Maroons enforcer Ben Te’o are discussed as well as the team taking inspiration from the late great Arthur Beatson.

And what Origin day show would be complete without some final predictions. NRL Daily host John Gibbs and Greg Alexander throw up their thoughts on who will win and who will take out the man of the match honors.
