NRL CEO David Gallop will swap his suit and tie for an apron and cooking gloves next week to take part in the very first CEO CookOff in Sydney.

The CEO CookOff on February 6 is a joint venture of OzHarvest and Qantas to raise awareness about food security and homelessness while raising much need funds to support OzHarvest and Mission Australia, two charities working to help people in need.

Gallop will join 200 CEO’s and 30 celebrity chefs, including Neil Perry, as they converge on Sydney’s Cathedral Square to feed over 1000 people in need.

The NRL CEO says he’s looking forward to learning a few things from his celebrity chef counterparts.

"I do a great poached eggs on toast but not much else,” said Mr Gallop.
