Wayne Bennett's Red Hill revolution continues, with the Broncos confirming the release of front-rowers David Hala and Martin Kennedy.
Hala, who has only managed 37 appearances since making his debut in 2009 due to long spells out with injury, is expected to link with the neighbouring Gold Coast Titans for 2015.
Kennedy's departure meanwhile comes just one year into a three-year deal worth a reported $400,000, and frees up much needed salary cap space as Bennett attempts to lure Knights fullback Darius Boyd back north of the border.
Kennedy, 25, never hit his straps after joining Brisbane last year, and spent an unhappy period languishing in reserve grade with the Ipswich Jets despite being former coach Anthony Griffin's high-profile forward recruit.
A return to the Roosters is rumoured to be on the cards for Kennedy, where he cut his teeth for four years and earned a reputation as one of the best up and coming big men in the game, resulting in a call up to Queensland's 18-man Origin squad in 2013.
Brisbane's front-row stocks have received an overhaul since Bennett's return, with Ben Hannant leaving to take up a one-year deal with the Cowboys, and Melbourne's Mitch Garbutt and Wests Tigers James Gavet being lured to the club.
