Luke Lewis is not expecting an Origin recall, but will be ready if required.

Rugby League fans are encouraged to get to Remondis Stadium on Sunday afternoon to help Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks forward Luke Lewis celebrate his 250th NRL Telstra Premiership match.

NRL Head of Marketing Lewis Pullen said Luke Lewis would love nothing more than to celebrate his milestone match with a win over arch-rivals the St George Illawarra Dragons.

"To secure your seat, head to www.nrl.com/tickets and take advantage of pre-purchased tickets which include transport to and from the game. There's also a free shuttle bus from local train stations," Mr Pullen said.

"The Sharks will hold a post-match presentation at the Cronulla Leagues Club to honour Luke's achievement."

The former Blues and Kangaroos star made his first grade debut for the Penrith Panthers in 2001 before joining the Sharks in 2013.

The clubs will also vie for the Monty Porter Cup, which is contested each time the two sides meet. It honours the achievements of the second-rower who had strong associations to both clubs.
